Symphony No.2 in D, Op 36 4th movement Beethoven Help Opus Details
For feedback and questions, please contact Victor Gomersall.
Beethoven wrote 9 symphonies, and they show his development from a strictly classical form in the first two, based on Haydn and Mozart's models, towards a more romantic style, culminating in his 9th.

This 2nd symphony is lively and optimistic, despite the fact that Beethoven was becoming ever more despondent about his increasing deafness.

This 4th movement employs a more contrapuntal style than the other movements, so it leans more to Bach than to Haydn or Mozart.
